I typically use high/low as equivalent to the left/right hierarchy. This is assuming space allows, and that the stack doesn’t get too high.

I know a very skilled composer and conductor who prefers writing in concert but conducting from transposed. Thanks to digital notation, he does exactly that. He writes in concert, then when finished, he switches to transposed, checks the score and makes any final adjustments, then sends it to be cop...

I have no desire to read italicized chord symbols. Once you add extensions they get hard to read.
