No: I'm not swapping voice CONTENTS, but Voice ORDER, which does indeed swap the voice column index on each note.

Re: Opposing Seconds with dots
This is, as far as I can tell, Dorico's default. There is a Notation Options for Unisons, but not for seconds. It's a moment's work to fix it (Swap Voice Order), but it would be great not to have to do it at all. I realise there are complications with things like F# vs F natural; or G in the lower v...

Opposing Seconds with dots
I much prefer this:
instead of this:
The latter seems much too distorted/displaced from its 'true' position.
Who's with me?

Re: Spacing problem
Also, from what I can observe (possibly due to the browser's antialiasing), the note-heads appear to intersect with the staff lines. Ideally, the terminal points should align with the middle of the staff lines or at least coincide with the outer boundaries of the staff lines. I've noticed these &qu...

Re: Feedback on music typeface
That's a very nice font. It works very well on the page. Nice and dark. (TBH, I don't like Lava on a page of music, and certainly not for lyrics, but that's by the by... ) I notice you've used a different text font for the ottava symbols. What was that? It would be interesting to see that use...

Re: Spacing problem
Sadly, the whole aria is riddled with the things! I'll try reducing the notes.

Re: Spacing problem
It's already 1.41.!
EDIT: Actually , a larger ration seems to produce a better result overall.

Spacing problem
I have a piece where runs of very small notes in the Violins affect the spacing of the other parts. For example:
Short of having one bar per system, I'm not sure how to improve it, but it's very hard to read.

Using Dorico for Early Music, pt. 2
I've just written an article about using Dorico to prepare editions of Early Music. This is essentially an 'update' to previous articles, incorporating the new features that have been added since then. https://www.scoringnotes.com/tutorials/adventures-in-early-music-with-dorico-volume-2/ I've also c...

Re: Page size order conventions
OK: Verdi, Giuseppi.
It seems to be common in formal and administrative use.
