Re: Affinity Suite version 2

As a Publisher user it sounds interesting. As I have purchased earlier version I guess it is not free of charge.
The only thing I had problem with was embedding fonts, they were missing from PDFs generated in Finale.

Hej på dig och välkommen!

I agree about the previous comments.

A question: why not considering using MuseScore? I have found it very interesting during last months development, and the results in my hands turned to be just beautiful (in a graphical sense). But I am not saying you should leave LP!

Re: The new "Standardization" phobia in music editing

Re: Edition of Scarlatti K. 2

But I do hear as well as see the passage in three voices, no matter how it is notated. As a violinist playing Bach's Sonatas & Partitas, I totally understand! Sometimes it is not 3, but shifts between 2 and 4, or even 5 voices. Interestingly, some of Bach's single melodic movements from the work me...

Re: Edition of Scarlatti K. 2

To me, the structure of the previous measure makes it even clearer why he wants to set the first note off with a centered beam. Yes, but I have in mind the previous measures where it is notated as it is: Screenshot 2022-11-15 at 14.43.35.jpg It is possible to see all this as three voices, but I thi...

Re: Edition of Scarlatti K. 2

B. The apparently inconsistent beaming of some groups as a group of six and others as 2 + 4, (with and without centered beams) derives from Scarlatti’s desire to set off the first note of each of these measures, possibly as a note to be freely held through the following as different voice. To avoid...

Re: Not strictly engraving, but rather notation question

Why not to omit the tempo text (yet using accelerando) and write :4 =48 accel. :4 =76

The next tempo is in any case più mosso.
