The little square symbol or some other similar symbol would mean: stop playing and rest until the next notated event. I still can't get it. What ...

Re: Lilypond

That is really great, Pierre! I hope it was not to much troublesome job for you! One thing that I noticed and that I like very much: lines (stems, ledger lines) for grace notes are equal to the regular notes. I think it is very good - legibility rate is much higher (BW-balance is good). Finale makes...

Re: Ottavation numbers attached to clefs

I have seen scores with both options, but more with clefs that have 8 attached. But that is probably not the rule.
If anyone else having another statistical information it would be great to know.

Re: Font collections

Except that it looks astonishing, I would love to have noteheads in the frame of the staff-lines, they look like jumping out.

Re: Spatial piece

Also Scriabin in his later sonatas (5+) uses :ped extremely rare. Everything is written in voices that support/force pedaling. Would the following work for spatial music? The note is held until the little square symbol. Without knowing more about that piece, it is hard to say. What is dashed barline...

Thank you.

Here is an example. There are missing woodwinds and brass. Therefore maybe some small spacing deviations.
