Ok, this falls way into super music geekdom, but one of my favorite bookstores is having a big summer sale. They have stuff starting a $5 and going up to way more than I can afford, LOL! Here's the PDF catalog of the huge summer sale they have going on for music books:

Orders from them are a bit odd, as sometimes they have to get back to you on shipping, but they are completely legit and I've ordered from them multiple times. They often have really rare stuff you can't find elsewhere. If there are rare books or first editions of publications you are looking for, they are a great resource.

Thanks for the reference. They have some fascinating things, a lot of it I guess for rich collectors and libraries. But also a lot of books on music at surprisingly affordable prices. But nothing along the Schenker lines, unfortunately. Not that I should buy any more books. I'll put their contact information in my will; they might be interested in my collection.

Yeah, they have some original manuscripts that cost more than my car, LOL! I'm not sure who is buying those, but I have 2 kids in college so not me! Many of their books are quite reasonably priced though and are tough to find elsewhere.
