Perhaps you've mentioned this before, I honestly can't remember, but was Arnstein in the tuplets must always contract camp?

7:8 is just a common exception to that rule, so curious if his 7:4 preference here can be extrapolated to extend to all tuplets. There is a certain logic and consistency to always having tuplets contract.

Yes, he insisted on the the number of notes in the tuplets being greater than the normal value, without exception. 7:4, 15:8, etc.
