Thank you so much for looking into that, Anders, and for your rest expressions. I do have Finale 27 unused, but I am transitioning out of Finale and still using Finale 25.5 only for projects that I am finishing up. I noticed that that glyph U+E4F4 was slightly off center when viewed within a Finale 27 document but better within a Finale 25.5 document. The half rest is better. Yours are better than both. But I don't know how to use a Finale Maestro rest character within a Maestro document. Or if there is a practical way to use Finale Maestro as the default font in a document that was done in Maestro in Finale 25.5. The glyphs don't match and I fear that I would have to go through and swap them all out individually and deal with the inevitable bad consequences so late in the game with these large projects. So perhaps using your expressions would be the most practical way to deal with such a rest, which is an infrequent occurrence in the music that I am dealing with. I'll experiment.

You are welcome, John.
I can see some difficulties in swithching to Finale Maestro, but it's possible to change the font for a specified category only, like rests, in Document Options.
Then, as the whole-rest glyph isn't qite correct as you say, it feels a little like "two steps forward and one step back". Bother!
