I can see the difficulty they had (maybe it's the scan). The bottom of the multi-stave slur look rougher then the top, less elegant.

A tip: you can always use a mobile phone to take picture (if one with camera you have of course).

How in the world does that appear in the parts, I wonder? Perhaps the other instrument must be cued in each.
