Not weird, at least to me, but:

1. Everything on the page to be movable and editable on a case-by-case basis: Every clef, every accidental in every key signature, every line in every double bar line, every dot in every repeat sign etc.

2. Automatic layout functions can be turned on and off, again on a case-by-case basis and the layout done entirely by the user.

3. Anything hand-placed by the user can be designated as fixed in place and not to be touched by the program.

4. Bezier curves for slurs can be turned off and control points added anywhere by the user so the slur can be adjusted entirely by hand.

Thanks. Do you mean movable in all directions, or just horizontally for e.g. clefs? What do you include in the term editable?

Here are examples of what is movable in Igor Engraver and MuseScore Studio. The Igor Engraver example had originally two treble clefs and key signatures for F minor, and time signatures, notes and rests in standard positions. Playback is not affected by the displacements.

Movable in all directions and editable in font and size and possibly other aspects depending on the symbol. I basically want to be able to do anything that a plate engraver could do plus anything software can do.

Do you think displacements of e.g. clefs should affect note input and playback so that for example moving a treble clef to the third line makes it a soprano clef?

Sibelius is very limited when it comes to movable objects at the start of a system; only the time signature is movable and only horizontally:

That's up to the software designers. Semantic limitations have a place, but I want to be able to turn them off whenever necessary.

After messing up the Igor Engraver score for violin and piano here above by moving objects out of their normal positions, Igor says the score was created with a version that I do not know of when I try to open it again:

For me, it would mostly be situations where crowding makes small adjustments necessary, generally in the horizontal plane, but perhaps also in the vertical. And special situations arise, for example, where two clefs are used simultaneously on a single staff (Debussy) and workarounds are required in current software.
