I seem to remember, albeit rather vaguely, that a certificate was obtained that would run out after a certain period (3 years?) and that renewal when due would need action. I *think* this was all done by OCTO but I may be wrong. Might there be some cost involved?
My memory of this is far from clear and may be wildly awry…

Usually the website provider (the company which owns the server where the website runs on) provides a SSL certificate and updates it automatically when needed, so once the qebsite is up and running nothing has to be done by the website administrator. The certificate comes with the annual price of the hosting. In this case our admin ahould contact the provider and maybe open an assistance ticket.
If on the other hand a third-party certificate was chosen, it must be expressely renewed and payed for.
In both cases, only the admin can do something.
