Accent placement

I have trouble with placement of the accent. In Finale by default it is placed outside of the staff. There are many recommendations for that.

Do you find this one visually correct and appealing?

In this case, I would place the accent either between the g and b line and inside the slur, or on the stem side, depending on context.
