I have this old "Keys: Piano Music Magazine" from 2000 and it contains a lot of music from various US publishers. It's easy to see which notation program is used: there's some in Finale, Encore, Sibelius, Score, Graphire, and even some manual engraved scores. However, there's one that uses a Henle font and a piano brace that, from what I can tell, can't be replicated in Finale. Interestingly, musicnotes.com also uses this "software" in all of their scores. So, I was wondering if anyone knows the "program" used here. (I'm not at all interested in acquiring it, just curious.)

Judging from the piano brace, this is definitely Finale. Not sure about the font, though. Might be custom.

Knut,
Are your sure about the brace? Finale has a scaling issue with with different stave heights. In the score above, the brace is scaled perfectly (compare 1st system with others) and doesn't get distorted like a Finale brace would. I guess it could be avoided if you entered the brace as an expression, but that seems impractical and the expression brace never looks exactly like the group brace designed from Document Options. Perhaps Finale handled this better in the past?
Forgot to mention, the copyright for this particular piece is [1990 The New School for Music Study Press by Frances Clark and Louise Goss].

Odod,
It's interesting that the Doremi font looks like Henle.

It looks pretty clear positioned, my guess is that it is a computer made.
Sometimes it is hard to inspect a score if it is not scanned in a high resolution.
The font looks like Xinfonia (no idea how but I have it on my computer, perhaps acquired it in the last millennium...).

Re: What Software Does MusicNotes.com Use?
Yes, but I think this one is not done with Finale. My guessing is SCORE, since all music is vectored. Of course, the vectorization can be done from a Finale file. Just my guessing here.
But look at this line connections (barline to staffline), they totally differ from system to system, even stems from note to note. Finale and Sibelius are more consistent in that. MuseScore perfectly aligns all lines.

It is definitely done with a computer, since all objects are perfectly aligned (such as rests..).
My guessing is also Finale. Barlines at the end are typical Finale-style.
Some ancient version though.

Re: What Software Does MusicNotes.com Use?
A sample from musicnotes.com with a choir bracket. Definitely not a Finale choir bracket. Possibly SCORE?
